Types of Waistband elastics
Knitted waistband elastics
Feature: Thin, lightweight, soft, when used as waistbands, usually sewed inside the fabrics, not touch the skin directly. The knitted elastic bands produced by Maysun size vary from 1cm to 10cm, and more than 100 colors are available to choose from color chart. Logo print is available and more customization request could be negotiated.
Braided waistband elastics
The braided elastic waistbands are usually narrower in width compared with other two types of elastics. It is high tenacity and the stretch is high, which usually used under the fabrics when used on clothes. Many clients buy such waist elastics from us to make the baby diapers. You can also pick up the desired colors from our ready made color card, MOQ could be low to 1 roll. The braided elastics are usually not customized with logo as the surface of it is uneven.
Woven waistband elastics
The woven waistband elastics are made of cotton or chemical fiber as warp and weft yarns, and a group of rubber threads (latex threads or spandex threads) interwoven in a certain pattern. It has a relatively tight texture, moderate elasticity, and good durability. The woven waistband elastics are usually custom made with patterns or logo as they are good to use as a separate waistband instead of covered under the fabrics. In other words, it's visible so we usually make them in different appearance by printing or jacquard. They have the widest applications from clothing accessories to fit equipment for sports purpose.

Printed waistband elastic
The printing is a post-processing technique which by printing patterns on finished elastic tapes using dyes or pigments. The printing contents could be words, letters, symbols, graphics, texts and etc. We can do Screen Printing/ Heat Transfer Printing/ Digital Printing/ Letterpress Printing/ Gravure Printing/ Hot Foil Stamping for different pattern effects. The printing could be applied to all the 3 types of elastic bands. The advantage of printed elastics is the pattern is attached to the surface of the fabric, which has a strong sense of flatness, high color vividness, and can simulate complex images.
Jacquard waistband elastic
The pattern is formed directly by the machine during the weaving/knitting/braiding process, and the alternating density or color changes of the warp and weft yarns constitute the pattern. The pattern is integrated with the elastic bands, with a strong three-dimensional effect, the pattern is uneven, and the gloss changes with the angle of light. The jacquard logo is durable is it's already a part of the elastic tape, never worry the logo will fall off or fade.
