1. Materials
Polyester cord is made of polyester fiber, which has excellent wear resistance, scratch resistance and chemical stability; while nylon cord is made of nylon 6 or nylon 66, which has the characteristics of high strength, high wear resistance and strong toughness.
2. Performance
Polyester cord has good oxidation resistance and UV resistance, excellent color fastness and not easy to fade, and good verticality; while nylon cord has higher strength and wear resistance, and is not easy to deform or twist.
3. Application
Due to the characteristics of polyester cord, it is generally used for ordinary curtain decoration, suitable for indoor curtains, home fabrics, bedding, home decoration and other fields; while nylon cord is more suitable for heavy-duty fields, such as outdoor awnings, large building curtains, etc. In addition, nylon cord has the characteristics of non-toxic, odorless, corrosion-resistant and moisture-proof, and is usually used in sports equipment such as yoga fabrics, fitness balls, tennis, badminton, etc.
